Yahoo pop mail errors?-Collection of common programming errors
cjk44t I’ve got Yahoo plus mail and use OE6 to download mail. Has worked fine forever. Recently I did a fresh reinstall, setup OE6 again. It worked for two days but now I get an error when I click send/receive. It goes thru the motion and even says “Receiving message 1 of 18” and I get to about 15% on the progress bar then an error message pops up. It tells me “An unknown error has occurred. Account ‘plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com”, server ‘plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com’, Protocol: POP3, Port 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800C0133″.I’ve double checked all my OE6 mail settings but cannot get anywhere. Can’t think of anything I changed except for automatic updates that happened after the reinstall.
An….. OE6 is almost obsolete, having been replaced by Windows Mail for users of Windows Vista, and by Windows Live Mail for all other users. You may have made an error in the way you re-installed the program.
