TFS service down?-Collection of common programming errors
msdnI am unable to connect to my tfs service. the main page http://tfs.visualstudio.com seems to be working but mine https://areadbm.visualstudio.com works only a few minutes a day. this happens from different internet connections and computers. Is there any problem with the tfs service?
This is the problem i get:
TF400324: Los servicios de Team Foundation no están disponibles desde el servidor areadbm.visualstudio.com\DefaultCollection. Información técnica (para el administrador): Se ha terminado la conexión: Error inesperado de recepción.
In English (I did the translation):
TF400324:Team Foundation services are not avaliable from the server areadbm.visualstudio.com\DefaultCollection. Technical Information (For the administrator): Conection ended, unexpected reception error.

msdn3Please excuseme for not responding. I have been ill and therefore offline.
I am still having those issues, service doesn’t Work certain intervals and does the rest of the time.
In this precisely moment i cannot connect to the service nor via tfs client neither via web.
10 minutes ago, i was commiting code propperly.
I have tested this from serveral computers and internet connections. and even formatted and reinstalled my computer with the same results.

Do you mean you experience the same issue when try to connect on other machine?
Do you have other users how are team member of your hosted team foundation service, what’s the result when they try to connect with TFService?
Is there any detail event log relate this issue?
What’s the version of your VS and Operating System?

msdn5I do experience the same issue in other machines. I do not have more users in my team. I will try to generate a log with fiddler, but in this momento everything Works fine.
I am running VS 2012 ultimate (update 1) in a “just-installed” Windows 8 profesional both in spanish.
VS has no extensions but nuget package manager.

msdn7 Yesterday logging the connection i found http errors 101 and 109 retrieving assets from the tfs via HTTPS but today everything seems to be working properly. did you make any improvement?Thanks.

I have been making test and logging data, and i have narrowed down the issue to this:
when i am working via Ethernet cable the service times out. when i work via wifi the service Works properly. This happens to me in several places and internet connections. Now i am trying to guess out why… Anyway the problem seems to be external to TFS.
