Visualboy Advance problems loading game?? =(?-Collection of common programming errors

  • Gretchen R I’m not a tech-savvy girl, but I felt so proud when I managed to DL Visualboy & get my pokemon emerald to work. except. . . it doesnt. when I saved in the game and quit, it made a file. but when I try to open it, it says ‘error unknown file type’ and closes out the program. am I doing something wrong? whats a girl got to do to get this bloody thing to work? I just want to play. . . =(

    ps– im rocking Version 1.7.4, and emerald is “1986 – Pokemon – Emerald Version (UE).gba” dunno if that matters/helps

    Can you give me the link to download the emerald rom? i just downloaded the visualboy but i cant find the emerald rom. I can help you aafter i download it and try it myself

    open the game, load the safe file or just start a new game
