discoverer: anonymous so everytime I try to open my iTunes, an error message occurs that says “Itunes was not able to connect to the itunes store. An unknown error has occured. Make sure your internet connection is active and try again.” It’s been going on for about a week now, and i havent been able to make any purchases…. I just got an iPad today and I tried to set it up with itunes, but it doesnt acknowledge it when I plug it in. I held down the power button while my iPad was connected, which set it into recovery mode on iTunes, but when I tried to restore it, it says “the iPad software update could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later.” I ran a diagnostic, and it says once again that my itunes is not connected to the internet, which is obviously not the problem because I’m typing this right now. It’s not a firewall problem, because I checked to see if it was allowing itunes and it was. I even uninstalled my McAfee and everything. I’ve tried reinstalling and updating itunes. I tried calling my network provider and itunes tech support, but no luck.
help please -_-
- If you have antivirus installed, it might interfere the program from connecting to the internet and you might want to grant its full access or disable it.
