    networking drivers usb wifi firmware
    I am searching for a WLAN USB adaptor that can be used as an Access Point as well as a mere client and in an AdHoc setup. It should support IEEE 802.11n and transmit rather fast (300Mbps).As I compile custom kernels for my machines, the driver should come as part of the current kernel (3.7.1 at the time of writing) and does not need to be built externally. If possible, I would even like to avoid installing external firmware. Driver and hardware should support power saving mode.Currently, I am us

    osx hard-drive firmware
    I have an imac(intel) that boots with a grey loading bar. The bar resets, reloads and then shuts down. It boots from the install disk fine, but will not go into SUM. I have tried to repair the disk with the install disk but am told this cant be done.I plan on reformatting the drive and reinstalling the os, however, I need to make sure the issue is actually a corrupt HD and not the firmware.

    router wifi linksys firmware
    I am looking into buying a Linksys WRT54G series to use as my router, DNS and Firewall.I would like to be able to share my internet connection with a couple of other small organisations too and have control over the management of such a service.Which of the firmware options is best suited for sharing connections and possibly boosting the signal in other offices?EDIT: There will probably be a maximum of approx. 25 people using the network at 1 time.OpenWRT, Tomato or DD-WRT

    linux raid pxeboot firmware adaptec
    We’re running a 500GB RAID 1 on an Adaptec 2420SA – 2x500GB Hitachi Drives. It suddenly crashed and required a rebuild — was not even booting. It’s only at 66% after about a week. Very frustrated. This is the second box with the same card and drives that has had issues with the RAID/drives. Another box had this happen twice. Both machines are Linux boxes. CentOS and Fedora.I dunno if it’s the firmware — which currently needs an update (any help doing this over PXE would be great- I have used U

    macbook-pro hard-drive upgrade ssd firmware
    I have successfully created a fusion drive using an 256GB Samsung 840 Pro and am loving it – but am experiencing (my first) system crashes (on my mac) ever since when I send my MBP to sleep. I read that upgrading the firmware of the SSD might help and found this description to do it: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4863343. I depend on my machine being in a working state every day, so I need to be sure that the firmware upgrade will not destroy my file system (DXM05B0Q from http://www.samsu

    c++ arduino virtual-functions firmware
    Following up on this comment from the question Writing firmware: assembly or high level?: When compiling C++ code for the Arduino platform, can you use virtual functions, exceptions, etc? Or would you want to (have to) use a subset of C++ (as described in the comment)?Any other caveats when programming for the Arduino platform?
