Not for vague or undefined reasons–if the owner is trying to make repairs, and he has notified you that these will require his admission to your apartment, he can do that–but if he is simply coming into your apartment unannounced for no reason and he has not notified you, he is trespassing, and you have the right to tell him you will take legal action against him if he continues to do this. A tenant has a right to privacy and prior notification for landlord visits unless there is an emergency

We are supposed to be closing on monday, and when the morgage officer sent the papers to the Title place, they said the owner (my mother-in-law) had a tax lean on it. She didnt know anything about it. She is a very honest woman; credit score of 783. They had just built a new house this year, and I am suprised it didnt come up then. Any suggestions? Could this actuly be a mistake, or is there going to be a problem?
