I found a fantastic deal on a 12″ sub-woofer that runs at 400 watts rms and at 4 ohms impedance. The only problem is that I cant find an amp for it at a reasonable price. I can find some at 400 watts and 2 ohms and some at 4 ohms but different watts. Any help would be appreciated.

I was choosing between 2 Altec Lansing Models which is the T612 or the the InMotion MAX. Also would I rather go for Logitechs S715i portable speaker? which is the best of the lot so I can gift it before this Christmas. Thanks!

I am having an issue with my DVD recording device. Sometimes, when I insert a disc into the player, it tries to read it for a while and then displays the following message, “Unknown disc, please check disc again.” Then it just ejects the disc back without.playing it back. The recorder will just give me that error message no matter how many times I try.Occasionally, when I try to finalize a disc (a DVD-R to be exact), I get a message that says, “Finalization has failed,” then

Our last DVD Recorder/VCR combo after a while kept giving us the “Unknown Disc. Please check disc again” message before auto-ejecting. So I need to know some the best units out there that are available in stores and that are not likely to cause these disc-read error issues.Overall, which devices do you think are the best?
