Minecraft problems! Help please?-Collection of common programming errors

I either recommend you uninstall Java, then re-install, OR if you are running Windows Xp, then I think i may know how to fix it, for some reason my computer did something similar as well. what u need to do is, right click on your background > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot, and u will see hardware acceleration, it should be somewhere near the middle, for me, if the selector is a little to the right, Minecraft wont work for me, but other games will, if it a little to the left, Minecraft runs perfectly, but other games won’t even run. Also, if this doesn’t help you, id suggest changing the hardware acceleration to its original spot, since I am not entirely sure if it will affect you later. If you get it working, please tell me. id like to know if i helped or if i didn’t. if i didn’t help. im very sorry but keep looking for solutions
