Hope and luck are inner workings of probability?-Collection of common programming errors
- Well, you have a couple of undefined terms there, but I think I know what you’re asking. When you are hoping for something, you tend to notice things that lead toward your goal more easily and frequently. For example, when I’ve decided I need to find a dentist, I start noticing dentists’ offices as I travel on errands, and I ask more of my friends and acquaintances about their dental care. In a more abstract goal, say, like becoming an actor, you start noticing people’s movement more, you pay more attention to the way other actors perform on TV and in movies, you notice theatres, etc.
With things that seem like pure luck, there is often some traceable cause and effect too. If you really want something, you appear more eager and sincere, you become more knowledgeable about it, you make better eye contact with the people who can choose to give it to you, etc.

yes….The more I give, the more I fine, my personal experience. Some say I’m lucky, but I believe its good energy.

Only in the realm of your physically being able to do something about enhancing the probability of your situation does hope have any value related to luck.
-
No. Hope is a motivator. Sometimes we do things because we want a desired result. What if there is no such thing as luck or coincidence and every occurrence is a direct result of choice and action? All actions have consequences–good or bad or sometimes both. Just something to ponder.
