I am in the process of having my watch action approved by Facebook but when I publish the action with a Test User it fails. This is a live environment, Sandbox-mode off.Error message: OAuth “Facebook Platform” “unknown_error” “An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later.”I get similar results when I try to publish with the Graph API Explorer. However, it publishes fine for my admin user and all other “real” app users who are developers of the app. In any test I’ve done I can

I am facing this less documented error when creating ads group using the FB api. It asks the user to try again later, but I have been trying for the past 18 hours. The error says: {“error”:{“message”:”An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later.”,”type”:”OAuthException”,”code”:2}Here are the curl commands ( I took the exact example from this doc page https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/ads-api/adgroup/ the first example ):curl \ -F “name=my ad” \ -F “campaign_id

I have a Facebook app that shows a count of all events created by friends on Facebook. I use FQL to return the numbers. It was working fine until February 1st and I suppose it stopped working because of the Rolling changes for this month, but I haven’t been able to find anything about the FQL protocol in the documentation. Here is what was working before:$timestamp = time(); // Get current Unix time $iso8601 = date(‘c’, $timestamp); // Convert unix time to ISO8601// FQL Multiquery $fql_query = ‘

Using python 2.6.5 and facebook-sdk 0.3.2 this:import facebook api = facebook.GraphAPI(token) api.fql({‘example’:u”SELECT uid2 FROM friend WHERE uid1 = me()”})returns an empty list, but thisapi.fql({‘example’:”SELECT uid2 FROM friend WHERE uid1 = me()”})works. If any of the queries are unicode strings, the result will be [] with no error. Facebook developer support suggested I ask on stackoverflow what’s wrong. Their explanation was that since nobody else has reported this bug, that it’s proba

Background:After thinking that I had managed to successfully navigate Facebook’s gauntlet of privacy settings, I have fallen prey to yet one last unexpected hurdle. My Facebook app allows users to post content to Facebook (status updates, photos, etc). It also allows users to browse and view the same content of others who are users of the same app. Even if two users (that are friends) have:granted the necessary permissions (read_stream, user_photos, friends_photos, etc) to the app successfully

I have reported a bug about this (https://developers.facebook.com/bugs/163942813778219).I have implemented the server-side login flow which is supposed to result a long-lived user acess_token.I have two cases where I am not able to obtain the long-lived token; the process runs properly though it results a short-lived token. One case is a general profile; the other one is a profile migrated into Page only.In all other tested cases it works properly, resulting a long-lived token, as expected.Still,

php jquery mysql facebook news-feed
I have a news feed that has been developed using PHP, MySQL, and jQuery. The news feed does it’s job by getting new content every 5 seconds. However, this is done by a “refresh” of the complete content. I want to only ADD any new content to the news feed. I want a fade in or scroll effect to be used (jQuery) for this to occur. The items already loaded should stay on the feed and NOT reload with any new content. How can I do this? Here are my 2 pages and code.feed.php<body ><script>win

I am having a problem with sharing/liking links with Open Graph Protocol data for audio/mp3 files. They look OK on Facebook news feed/timeline, but when you click play button, it won’t play. It says: undefined (see screenshot). So I tried playing some older posts of links with OG meta data about audio/mp3 files, and they don’t play either.EDITI did some firebug inspection and the audio player is Flash based. I think the problem is in the flashvars part of the embed code. There is a flashvar f
