When I tried doing it with the manager &#8211; it said that it couldn&#8217;t allocate requested size even though I certainly asked for much less than it was available.<\/p>\n<p>I thought that it might have been a windows issue and proceded to installing Ubuntu 12.10 x64. When the graphical interface loaded it showed me a message stating that it can&#8217;t find any other operating system on the drive. When I used custom partioning option it showed me none of my current partions(including that with windows). However, when I boot with &#8220;Try Ubuntu&#8221; feature it does find them !
