  1. Well, firstly the limit can be re-written as: limit of [x – 3\/ (x+3)(x – 3)]; lim x -> 3 which can be simiplified to: limit of [1\/ x+3]; lim x -> 3\n

    Hence the limit is 1\/6.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. (x – 3) \/ (x\u00b2 – 9) = (x – 3) \/ [(x – 3)(x + 3)] = 1 \/ (x + 3)\n

    lim [1 \/ (x + 3)] as x –> 3 = 1\/6<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
