I cleared all my existing yahoo mail out of outlook express as I did not want duplicate downloads and reconfigured Yahoo to their pop spec. When i try to download now it reports: An unknown error has occurred. Account: &#8216;pop.mail.co.uk&#8217;, Server: &#8216;pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk&#8217;, Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800C0133. I have redirected most new mail to gmail but would like to get this problem sorted. I have spent hours with Yahoo tech services but they cant fix it.<\/p>\n<p>I have around 2000 messages on yahoo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/l.yimg.com\/sc\/28222\/answers2\/images\/a\/i\/identity\/nopic_48.png\" \/><br \/>\nDevil There are several reasons to that&#8230; 1) Your POP or SMTP might be wrong. 2) The server port numbers might be wrong. 3) SSL protocol might be wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Try using and following the help options found on the Yahoo website. Especially the protocol and port numbers. If you get one wrong, it wouldn&#8217;t work at all&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/l.yimg.com\/dh\/ap\/social\/profile\/profile_b48.png\" \/><br \/>\nanonymous2<\/p>\n<p>It seems you have a problem with the authentication. I think you have to allow the pop3 and mailforwarding.
